Students Explore Santa Monica's Green Efforts

Students in Professor Paul Wack's Plan Implementation class took a trip south to check out sustainability efforts in Santa Monica. The city has recently opened the Santa Monica Urban Runoff Recycling Facility, which recaptures water before it runs into the ocean, lessening dependency on groundwater. The tour also included a site visit to Tongva Park, City Hall, the Santa Monica Public Library, 3rd Street Promenade, and Global Green's Headquarters.
